snow Snowfence

Here are a couple of photos of the shadow of my picket fence, cast onto snow drifts. The last time that I had shadows like these was three years ago, so it seemed worth memorializing.

Actually our nearest neighbor (to the north) is only a couple hundred yards away; our nearest neighbor to the south is only a little more than a quarter mile away. The road in front of our place is about a mile long, we're the only house on the west side of it; there are threee families on the east side. Urban sprawl...
