I'd say you've done more than a "bit" of photography.

Sweet shot, nicely composed. I like the bokeh'd background, giving a nice sense of habitat.

"Forever searching, gathering, stashing, and nibbling..." forever ripping apart my flower beds... stealing my bulbs... gnawing on my bird feeders... chewing apart my suet bags... I have a love hate relationship with squirrels. Mostly I love them but there are days...

This pic includes my dogs, so it'll probably be disqualified. That's okay. :-) It's a picture of a woody trail in the Pacific Northwest on a rainy November evening. I like the richness of the green moss, the gold of the leaves above the dogs' heads, the brown of the ferns changing color behind them. I think the raindrops make it kind of magical. :-)

How about a fungus, birds nest fungus. I think this fungus is amazing, have many people here seen it?

I've never seen one but I can certainly tell why they chose that for a name.
Am I correct in guessing it to be quite small? It looks like it would be..neat looking fungi.
Is that a cap on the one?

Yes it is small, easily missed. You can see by the size of the moss etc. on this picture how small it is.
