The morning light was perfect for this shot of the song sparrow in the weeping cherry tree.

The bear photos were taken about a month before the bears went into hibernation, so they look um...ah..."very hardy." ![]() How did I get shot #3 you ask? I have a giant zoom lense for my camera. (just kidding). I sure wish I had a giant zoom lense for my camera though. Actually I was standing right next to that bear when I took the photo. No mom bear for these quadruplet bear cubs, so I stepped in. Are they tame? No, not really. Mimbrava- Beautiful sprarrow photograph. I can see the fine details of the feathers. Wow! Marvelous photo and of course, marvelous photographer. ![]() MaggyNoLia- Your November sunrise photo is stunning. Haven't seen a morning sky glow like that since being in Mexico. Sage- The beach photo....oooh I just want to wade through that crunchy grass and dangle my fingertips over the tops. Love the feeling it conveys. Really nice photos by everyone so far this month. My fat bears don't stand a chance! |

Sage,
Nice photos of the trees reflecting in the water.....so serene. The Beaver Island State Park photo is my favorite. BooBooBearBecky |

Mimbrava and Sage, your photos are outstanding (as they always are!). Sage, the photo of Beaver Island State Park makes me feel all sort of soppy inside (it is a beautiful photo of a beautiful spot).

Sage, all three photos are lovely, but I particularly like how you framed the reflections in the first one and did some unusual composing in the last one, completely disregarding the rule of threes but making the people seem very small against the expanse of vegetation in the foreground.
