The new member of the family is a Canon Powershot. I am going to strive to make myself worthy of it one day.

Thanks a lot, all.

Suunto, those are very pretty sunrise shots (about my only reason for getting up early anymore).

I love your pixie cup lichen shot, havalotta. Did you know that a lichen is an alga and a fungus living together and lichen it?

You already are .......

Quote again....Gol' darn it suunto, you have really been posting some good photos lately.
I do not stand a chance of winning this month, with all of the good entries.

Now Now..... You can't be thinking like that.
Ok I'll confess.............. I have thought it myself every now and then but I'm sure others have thought the same.
Just look at that photo Sage sent flying in the tracks and scat contest. We'll all need that eveready bunny.
Half the fun is in the the hunt and knowledge we gain along the way ..........

dragonfly01 Bears

Hanh mitakuyapi. These bears ain't missin' no meals, are they?! Um, Becky, how did you get shot #3? These are "tame" bears? Mama was off getting groceries miles away? What? Some of you may laugh yourselves silly over this, but some of us Indigenous Turtle Islanders (ITI) will not eat bear bcs the carcass looks so human. While others of us eat the meat because the carcass looks so human. And some of us eat the meat because you are what you eat, & who wants to be a turkey - always on the verge of paranoia & ready to run/fly at the drop of a leaf?
No matter - beautiful shots.
