Sage, the aster pic is just gorgeous - the purple against the golden grass.

Here's one I took last October in the woods near my house:

I think it's a hickory, but I'm not sure what kind.

Ooooooooooooo, yellow is so missing around here this year because of too much wind and rain. Love that yellow!

Trees, trees, trees. I can't get enough of them. Nice golden glowing photo that makes me think about laying on my back looking up into the leaves warmed by a little campfire.

I think New England Asters or maybe someone else knows for sure
