Me first.
These beautiful sandhill cranes were in a field I drive by daily. I hope they come back. They were a pleasant surprise. The first photo is my entry.

Looks like you have some sandhill cranes there Lorax, not herons. I love cranes. Such an incredibly graceful creature!

No way would I have gotten that photo without your bean bag tips. Where's that thread on the anything goes high definition whatever it was? I have a photo for that thread but I can't find it.
