The Prize for this month's winner was contributed by National Wildlife Federation. August's Photo of the Month winner will receive their ‘Attracting Birds, Butterflies, and Other Backyard Wildlife' guide. It’s a very practical book that helps guide homeowners through the creation and enhancement of their wildlife friendly backyards: Amazon.com: National Wildlife Federation Attracting Birds, Butterflies & Backyard Wildlife (0078585111503): David Mizejewski, Glee Barre: Books

Flower, The "Beauty Pagent" Bear.
Here are photos of Flower at 8 months old. Taken last August. Flower's features were so much more delicate than her 3 brothers, hence I nicknamed her the beauty pagent bear. Flower's beauty is mesmerizing.

Forrest, "The Watcher" bear
Photos of Forrest at 8 months old, the largest bear cub of the orphan quaduplets. His keen senses and instincts made him the watcher. He watched out for his siblings and alerted them (and me) to possible danger. Forrest, male orphan cub of Goldilocks. Born as a quadruplet cub with 2 brothers, Flora & Fern, and 1 sister, Flower BooBooBearBecky |

Nice crocosmia.
Black and white is always a nice treat tossed in. Your blue jay looks like he's taking a swing at it.
