I am stunned. The other entries were so good I never thought I'd stand a chance. Congratulations to Quietman, BooBooBearBecky, and Havalotta too! And thanks, Dave Stiles, for hosting the Photo of the Month Contest. It is my favorite because of the incredible variety of submissions.

The Prize for this month's winner was contributed by National Wildlife Federation. Quietman has won their ‘Attracting Birds, Butterflies, and Other Backyard Wildlife' guide. It’s a very practical book that helps guide homeowners through the creation and enhancement of their wildlife friendly backyards.

One of four born last spring. I must have 100 or so photos of them pal'ling around all summer.

I also have photos of Mom & Dad when they moved in last winter.
