In that third photo I would swear he looks as if he's smiling while napping.

havalotta, I love the seahorse! I've seen a large round floor-to-ceiling aquarium of these - spectacular!

And the seals are so cute!

Jellyfish make for some of the best pictures! I got some awesome shots a few years ago at our local aquarium. Thanks for sharing some of your wonderful shots with us. Heck that goes for everybody contributing here. I really enjoy all the pictures that everyone posts. Great jobs to everyone here.

We were very lucky to see the seahorse. They had just opened the exhibit the day we were there. It was actually a week earlier than they were originally going to open.

Years ago you were able to still buy the seahorse in pet stores. I'm assuming they must have put a stop to that by now. I never knew there were so many kinds!

The aquarium in New Orleans was my first visit to an aquarium. I fell in love with the jellyfish exhibit. They had soft lighting and soft music around it, and even though I was chaperoning a group of middle school kids, for a minute it was quiet and peaceful, watching the purple jellyfish dance just for me.

It would be so cool to have a tank like that in your home. It is very calming.
