Great bugs C.G. Looks like they can take on anything so close up and fierce looking.
S.F. loved the albino peacocks. Reminds me of sparklers.

AWESOME Six-spotted Tiger Beetle (Cicindela sexguttata)... or at least I think that's what it is.

I spent some time camped out around the daises watching all the different pollinators come and go.

I was using a stake to steady my camera when the Harvestman objected and began running circles around it to stay away from me. When he was on the light side of the stake the evening sun caught him just right.

Some great photos from everyone for the month of May. I'm really excited to see what June brings!

winner of May will be announced later this week - I'm kinda busy teaching in the field this week and have not had time to look at images entered...
