That is a prize I would like to have too. Why do you need to figure out how to take good pictures? It never stopped me from taking pictures. You will learn tricks along the way by doing.

Great photo of the heron Sage.
While waiting for something, anything, to hold still for me I took this photo of organically grown pecans. I know it won't win but the pecans posed very nicely for me.
