Hi there, fellow WG fans and supporters,
It's that time of year again. Time to start getting the 2015 Wildlife Gardeners calendar together. After several years of organizing, facilitating, and making it happen, linrose is taking a break from the WG Calender production process. Thank you linrose for all of your dedication over the years! In efforts of continuing the tradition, wildwatcher and I will be doing our best to spearhead this project for the 2015 WG Calenders. I would appreciate input from everyone on a few things: 1. Are you interested in buying a calendar(s) this year? All profits will go towards supporting Wildlife Gardeners, a website we have all received much enjoyment from. 2. What is the maximum price you would be willing to pay for a calendar? $15, $20, $25? I will try to make it as cheap as possible while still having some proceeds to donate to WG. Much of this will depend on how many people want a calendar, and how much of a volume discount I can get based on that. 3. Would you be willing to pre-order a calendar? A partial payment ahead of time would help cover up-front costs. Not mandatory. Winners of the POM for the past year: I will need to get copies of your high resolution photos to include in this year's calendar project. Please PM me so I may give you my email address to receive e-copies of hi-res photos. In keeping with linrose's wise choice in the past, we will use the previous year's November and December POM winners to ensure calendars are ready for the gift giving season. The following is a list of the POM Winners to be featured in the 2015 WG Calendar: January kchd's Jan. 2014 photo of a Northern Shoveler February disuhan's Feb. 2014 photo of an owl March turttle's Mar. 2014 photo of a bud in ice April MILTA's Apr 2014 macro photo of a native bee May turttle's May 2014 photo of a dragonfly June rockerBoo's Jun 2014 photo of a flower bud July gymell's Jul 2014 photo of a hummingbird August dapjwy's Aug 2014 photo of a caterpillar September disuhan's Sep 2014 photo of a caterpillar October wildwatcher's Oct 2014 photo of an Arkansas forest November dapjwy's Nov 2013 photo of bluebirds December kchd's Dec 2013 photo of a pyrrhuloxia

I will buy a calendar and will prepay. Whatever the cost of producing the calendar plus some for WG funds is fine with me.

Here's a little more info on pricing:
From what linrose tells me, a single calendar can cost as much as $16 each to as little as $5 each, depending on what sale may or may not be going on. Additionally, sometimes you can get shipping for free. Conversely, they charge for shipping based on merchandise total price, not on number of items. So a lot of this will depend on when I get all the photos, get them plugged into calendar design, and watch for a sale. To complicate matters further, we may get volume discounts depending on how many are ordered. Clear as mud? LOL! I will do my best to get good pricing, without overbuying and while still having proceeds to donate to WG. After all, that's why we do this, eh?

I'll pre-order and pre-pay. I think 15-20$ is a good ceiling price, as this compares to what I was seeing in stores for lesser quality photos.

Thank you, will-o-wisp, biigblueyes, and rockerboo. I have you all marked down for a calendar.
I have been getting photos in from the POM winners and I am getting close to having most of them.

Do you think it will be more than $20? I don't mind sending $20 in now, if you want to pm me your address.
