Default September 2014 POM winner

I wondered why there were never any comments about the winner. I did create a winner thread but I didn't realise it didn't post. Now I am having trouble attaching disuhan's picture of the caterpillar on the Viburnum. Ok got it attached.

I chose that picture as the winner. I loved that photo.

CONGRATLATIONS disuhan!

Sage, it's a hummingbird clearwing cat. A few days after this I saw two on the same plant! Then just like that, they were gone.

Great photo! I never knew what the clearwing cat looked like. I'll watch for them. What kind of viburnum is it on?

Thanks Rebek! This is a V. dentatum, but it had stripped my V. lentago bare first.

It is a great shot and an interesting subject. I like how its body is arched.

Congratulations, disuhan. ~smile~
