Hey! Let's have pix of sleds in the yard with snowmen built on them! Who's game?

Well, how about a promise that they will just be extras here, not entries. A backhoe came in yesterday and now we have mountains of snow up to the second stories. They will be here til mid-summer likely.

LOL, I would prefer snow... I know, I'm whining! I always want some snow. Its a tall order in MS, but we *might* get some tomorrow.

Make 'em entries! I'm all about it

I'm afraid I can no longer get to our sleds any time soon....
We have a big time propane shortage here.... Our local supplier ran out!
We lowered the heat at the lodge-camp and shut it down for the year (First time ever) trying to preserve fuel.
We haven't plowed the drive in since. I miss my Winter wonderland, snow filled evergreen getaways.

How about just a "snow sculpture" contest?

Yikes, you'll have to do a time-lapse photo series with the dates so we can see it finally melt...and how long it actually took.

Good luck. --I just have to wonder how your neighbors feel about it!

A particularly melancholy month for me, and such a crazy weather pattern, I found some solace in these two photos today.

I'm glad you found some solace...and thanks for sharing the source with us.

I especially like the lighting and colors in the woodland shot. --I've gotta get me some quality woodland. Woodland wildflower and their setting were my first love. After moving here, I've begun to explore the idea of open meadows...but I am ready for my woodland areas to grow up as a backdrop...and another place for me to find solace while walking its paths.

I must have Florida on the brain... Previous to blowing up your second photo, I thought it was an ~Alligator~
