Gorgeous sunset, hava. The framing by the trees really adds a beautiful touch!

Thank you, all. I'm thrilled that I got the shot(s).
I appreciate the honor, but I was sure either of two other photos would've been first place photos. Normally, I'd leave it at that, but I want to recognize kchd for capturing a two beautiful limited depth of field shots of an elusive bird and havalotta for capturing individual snowflakes shimmering on the snow's surface. Great shots! Then there was Rebek's oakleaf hydrangeas...and...and... I guess I'm lucky I'm not the judge! I don't know how she does it! I said it once, I'll say it again: Stiff competition!

Thanks, kchd! I'm thrilled to not only have attracted them to my yard, but to have documented them in photos.
![]() Surely, feel the same about catching shots of the woodcock. The past two years, I think I've heard their call here (having learned it in some Youtube video). I've never seen them before except in my youth in a painting on Pennsylvania Game News magazine.

I know havalotta's sunset is gracing at least one member's desktop.

Two beautiful shots that are almost completely opposite each other in both subject matter and primary colors. What an infinitely beautiful world we live in!
