I like your trees, ww...especially the ones outside in the sunrise.
They are from your property?

heck ya, my place, just out the back door, that big one in the center of the pix is a white oak, and so is the one on the left frame of the pix, we have a fair amount of that kind of tree. That pine in the center looks small, but really he towers over them all...it is funny how a camera doesn't show some things for what they are. And yet this shot shows a fantastic sunrise color almost as nice as seeing it in person.

Great to hear that it is your property and your own personal view.
Your explanation puts the photo into perspective. I can see them as oaks clearly now...and the pine does look quite tall to me know.

It's almost the end of the year and I haven't contributed anything yet for the photo contest, maybe one or two, I can't remember. So here are my five icy photos from the storm a couple of weeks ago. |

I really like the crystal candy coating a good ice storm brings. Those are very pretty!
I've been slacking a bit here too between the wrapping and decorating. Baking, cooking, packing and hauling everything to camp to celebrate will soon take over. With only a few days between, I'm browsing through photos for a few shots to share.
