It's time to post your September photos! You may post FIVE photos taken in September, until Oct 5th to give you time to get them off your SD card and post them for us all to see!
Autumn Wildflowers are FREE! (They don't count in your limit of five) Around here we see New England Asters in the fields and meadows. What do you see? Good Luck to All! |

Nice freebie kchd, I would be interested in some of those beans that may develop soon from the Apios americana, yanno if you happen to be skidding in that direction in a month or so.
![]() I thought you had some outstanding entries in the August POM, wishing you all the best in this September POM. ww

You got it on the Apios seeds, ww. It's nice having you right around the corner in a neighbor state. We can grow a lot of the same stuff.
Here's a photo I got today. I'm more excited about the find than anything. This is the first time I have found black swallowtail caterpillars on a native host plant out in the wild, on water-parsnip (Sium suave). I've only ever seen them on herbs or Queen Anne's lace. I dunno if this counts as a freebie wildflower photo, since it also has bonus-pillars.
