Congratulations, Bulu and hava. Great shots.

Sage, I'm hardly and expert, but it looks like the pupa of a ladybug with a drop of rain on it. Check out this link: Carly Googles: What are the stages of a ladybug life cycle?

But doesn't it look like something under the bug, like a tussock moth caterpillar?

High five Buluc!!! and a nice thank you..... for the recognition!
It does appear like a tussocks beneath the pupa, but unfortunately I can't turn back the pages of time for another look.

Thank you everyone and thanks Sage for all you do for the POM threads, including PMing the winners. This was a great help to me as I'd forgotten that I'd submitted in July!

Both the winners this month are examples of staying observant and having a camera at the right moment. These moments happen a million times a day. They're just waiting for us to capture them.

Thanks again!

And I know that many times I have the camera, but by the time I change the settings and get focused, it's all over~

Or the wind is blowing or the subject turns at the last minute or the sun comes out from behind a cloud messing up the exposure.

A hundred things can go wrong with any given shot, but every now or then....
