Question ~Please Contribute Prizes for POM Winners~

If you can step up to the plate and offer to prize a specific month, that would be wonderful!

Or, do you have any ideas how to acquire prizes?

Please respond with offers or ideas!

I think this is a great idea. I would be happy to contribute something. Any thoughts on what kinds of items would be most appreciated - books, gift certificates, garden art, bird boxes, homemade goodies, vary depend on the month?

I bought these 3 little Christmas ornaments thinking they could be used this December if Sage wanted but.... they don't have to be used as ornaments. They're sorta "woodsy" and could be used as a giveaway any month. Somebody like havalotta could probably suggest another month.... she's 1 of those people who can turn anything she touches into a work of art. I'm sure she could tell how to arrange em on a branch or something to make a still life for any month of the year.

turttle> Me... I'd take the homemade "goodies" you mentioned in a heartbeat. I remember wanting that jar of honey MasterAnts contributed once and I wanted that really bad.... I forgot who BEAT me out of it!!! I think Tallamy's book would be a hit... chances are pert near everyone here probably already owns it already. Maybe field guides? I dunno.... I'm not too good at picking prizes.... I buy what I like and hope for the best.

Oh, Lib, these are so cute! I just saved the pic so I can post it with the Dec POM! Thank you!

I've been out of town, still am, in Connecticut, visiting family for my birthday yesterday, having a wonderful time, heading home in the morning!

I'd be happy to contribute a jar of honey, though it would have to be sometime next year.

When I get home after Christmas, I'll rummage and see what we have to contribute. (The sabbatical is rapidlly drawing to a close.)
