Default ~Niagara Falls in winter, a fantastic sight~

We spent another day in Canada. It was freezing cold but sunny and the falls still wore its winter coat.
After enjoying the falls for a bit we went on to the Butterfly Conservancy, then came back and had dinner at the Sheraton overlooking the falls as the sun was setting.
Niagara Falls, usually bustling with international tourists any time of year, was virtually dead. Very odd.

While not a contest winner...

And more in the spirit of "What's happening in North America during March", I snapped this on my way in this morning. As they say here in NE Ohio, "The saps a rising!". Many of my neighbors harvest and boild down the maple sap to make fabulous home made maple syrup.

Take care!

Wonderful photo. Makes me want to try making maple syrup someday. I love those maple syrup candies in the shapes of leaves.

Lorax,

Thank you for the compliment, however, having seen a number of your photos, I have to say I am very impressed. Yourself and others here have a tremendous amount of talent and skill. Looking forward to seeing more from you soon!

Flattery will get you every where with me. I can be bought. My plant photos are better than anything I take pictures of that moves. I have problems with those. I keep trying for the fun of it.
