What is the first spring frost date in your area up there in the frozen North?

The last average frost date is mid May. Only three and a half months to go. . . *cry*

Well, check your germination rates and back up 4-6 weeks to determine the best time to start winter sowing.

hehehe I bet you ARE itching to get started with the planting. You have brand new toys and you can't play with them yet. Will you still get to plant this weekend?

I have hundreds of seed packs in my fridge - they take up the entire veggie drawer. I've gone through them a few times lately, picking out which 3 or 4 I'll plant this time. I finally have a greenhouse . . . happy feet dance! So I have 3 flats started so far. The cosmos are up, and so are some salad greens. Still waiting on those tomato and pepper seeds (tapping foot impatiently)
