Bad idea. I remember there was a Polar Bear at the Cincinnati Zoo named Icee. One of the zoo hands had gotten in the habit of feeding him grapes by hand, completely against regulations. She ended up losing an arm.
It amazes me how many animal "experts" fail to recognize the inherent power of their charges. There are no bad animals, the are all innocent. But stuff happens and when it does, it is almost always because a human made a poor decision. It especially galls me when an animal is destroyed because of some damn fool.
