havalotta, I don't grow roses, so I was wondering what the wasps are flocking to in your photo. Is it a rose hip? They look like little hatchling aliens coming out of that globe. It's a cooooool photo that's for sure.

I also enjoyed how the grasshopper blends in with his environment in your ski diddle hopper photo.

The wasps are eating apples! It would have had to be one humongous rose hip to fit that many in.

We viewed a fish hatchery in Winthrop.

I had to hold my breath and lean on a highway post to steady myself for that shot as traffic was flying by me.
