The National Wildlife Refuge System is the system of public lands and waters set aside to conserve America's fish, wildlife and plants.

Each CCP is required to comply with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and must contain several potential alternatives to habitat and wildlife management on the refuge, and identify their possible effects on the refuge.
Were there ANY..... alternative suggestions mentioned?

Looking for logical action from the White House??? ha ha!!

This attack on apex predators is foolhardy, tragic and sad. Only those totally ignorant of the consequences or with a powerful financial interest would support this act.

I don't even have words for how upsetting this is. We've been visiting the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem almost every year since 2000. One would have to be blind to NOT see how the ecosystem is healthier with wolves and bears present. Sure, there may be a few less elk, and it may take some actual HUNTING for the hunters to find them (as opposed to sitting and waiting), but the entire ecosystem is healthier with apex predators in good numbers.

I fear that this administration is going to to do great and lasting environmental damage all in the name of the almighty dollar. I'm sickened and saddened at the thought.
