I guess so. Humans (at least the modern kind) do not increase biodiversity they decrease it by turning their environments into themselves -- by consuming instead of interacting with the rest of the planet.

That poor guy needs to go back to 101.

I don't think very often a "naturalized" plant grows naturally. It displaces and colonizes, it does not merge with the natural environment.
