Default Bear out of beer?

BooBooBearBecky, did one of your woodland neighbors run out of beer? Probably wanted to stock up before hibernation season started.

bwahhhh ha hah Too funny.

Did you notice he didn't mess up anything and only left a noseprint? I wish the folks living in my house were that considerate!

Walked up and down the aisles? I guess he couldn't find the beer nuts.

I imagine that all of BooBooBearBecky's friends are polite and considerate.

They look so dang cute in photos. Not nearly as cute close up. What a funny story, thanks! I passed that to the boyfriend.

OMG....howling with laughter here!

beernuts? ha ha ha ha ha!

This was all over the news in my area today. And about 5 of my friends emailed me the link to the printed story.

I sure hope that isn't one of the bears from our woods!

My observations have always come to the same conclusion.....
Bears are intensely curious creatures, and seem to have this need to check everything out. Here's a couple of vidieos I took demonstrating that intense curiousity. Sorry about the quality, I was laughing too hard while videotaping these.

Oh that Hamms bear must have been naughty on his vacation up north. His baby was just coming looking for him!

Hey, BBBBecky - are your bear friends about to disappear for the winter and leave us lonesome? When does hibernation happen?

The bears in our area went into hibernation early. We've had frost and snow already, but the main reason for early hibernation in our area was due to lack of food sources.

Our spring and summer were extremely cool plus it only rained about 4 times all summer. So cool & dry in fact, that many of the fall berry bearing plants produced no blossoms, therefore no berries. The main fodder of blackberries was a total bust this year. Nada. Watching bears in the late summer and fall months feast on the abundant blackberries in our area is a huge photo op time for me. I've only seen 2 bears in the last couple of months. This is really unusual.

Typically black bear hibernation times vary from region to region, and are dependent on weather and available food. In my area, black bears normally enter hibernation between October & November. Sometimes as late as December and as early as September.

I know you'll miss your buddies, but it is comforting to know that they have a built-in survival system and they'll nap through the food shortage.
