Hmm, no mention of two nuclear powered hydroelectric plants that are slightly upriver. They've been cited several times for "problem" discharge into the river. I'm not surprised the fish are deformed, but think they might also glow in the dark.

Could this in part be because we don't have any research on the newly introduced chemicals?
