How many people read the labels on chemicals? 1 in a hundred? Recommending labeling restrictions is ridiculous. We should pull these chemicals from the shelves in that state. Allow certified applicators to have access to them but not the public at large.

The label on Roundup say it harms fish/amphibians & not to use it wehre runoff can occur (something to that effect) but it's used regularly on ditches. People don't care.

I disagree. I think people do care. I think people have never been taught why to care... so they don't bother reading the labels because they don't understand the limitations and restrictions.

It's the surfactants Monsanto is using in their RoundUp formulation for North America. They use surfactants that have been banned throughout Europe. The combination is deadly.

The surfactant currently used in RoundUp formulation is POEA. It has an acute lethal dose three times that of glyphosate alone and destroys red blood cells. Toxicity studies used to regulate the product only examine “active” ingredients not the formulation.
