I am not sure if anyone already shared this link, but I just discovered it and enjoyed perusing it. The Audubon' s website allows you to type in your zipcode and it compiles a list of natives from your area and the birds each attracts.

Enjoy:

Oh that's nice. Photo inclusive. That's what I look for in a site I'd be sure to look into!

Yes, I was impressed.

It took me a while to realize that it was showing more than just two birds that are attracted to each species. I finally learned to hit the arrow button.

I like the fact that you can type in what type of bird you wish to attract and it pulls in suggested species!

I didn't notice that feature. I'll have to check it out.

Found a little hiccup in their code. Was surprised that there were multiple goldenrods but I did not see Ohio goldenrod after I had gone through all the pages. Did a search on "solidago" and got 5 results but I could not see them. Had to keep clicking on "previous page" until I got to page 1 and then the five were displayed. No Ohio. Will mention to them they have a couple things to fix but I like it.

Also found out that I grow Oswego-Tea. I had never heard that common name before.

Kept playing with it. Noticed it was based on BONAP's info and then found this page. Much more detail on what is in my area, including Ohio goldenrod.
