On the way back to our car, I took a photo of Dingmans Falls from the bridge. I found a "brush pile" by the river interesting. It looked like as if it was left floating above the water after heavy spring rains raised up the river.

"Great (or Giant) Leopard Moth?" Ding ding ding!!!! You got it!!!

When you go tomorrow.... stop in at the visitor's center and pcik up a guide. Then show them your foot and ask them where the best vantage points are that you could drive to. Don't be out there slipping and sliding.... who wants to break an arm and end up in the ER>>>? Oh.... and don't do Bushkill Falls.... they charge over $10 to get in and there's lots of stairs.... lots of stairs that are probably now completely coated in leaves that you could slip on. I seriously think Bushkill Falls would be a little much for you and spending that kinda $$$ to get to the main falls would be anti-climatic for you being as how you wouldn't be able to experience any of the other joys that park had to offer.

There was another falls we missed going to because we flat out ran out of time what with having to work our way around road closures and all. I wish I could think of the name of it but maybe hava will know. If she does and if you get a chance to visit it.... paleeeeeeeease take lots of photos since we missed it!!!

I'll go in search of those to see if I've any maps.
There were TWO...One north, one south from the midway point (Dingmans).
