I started taking some knitting classes. I've obviously still got "chicken" on the brain though. I found those surfing the net at lunch some time last week and they cracked me up. I was thinking the feed bill for anyone with chickens like that would be zip nadda zero!!! Somebody did knit those by hand though.... they're actually slip covers for Cadbury (sp?) Cream Eggs. They are cute so I was thinking of trying 2 and stuffing em so I could use em as pincushions.

My kind of chickens, Lib! Especially if they lay Cadburys Creme Eggs!

Here are some photos of a "chicken tractor" my DH and I built for my sister and nephew last year. She houses a couple of bantam hens in it, and they help with the "mowing."

hahaha! We got in trouble here for taking the screens off some of our windows! Can you just imagine the lynch mob if we started to set up chicken coops??? But wait...I could video it and it would go viral on YouTube!

I like that tractor, kchd. Simple and effective, although the chicken in that last photo doesn't look like a bantam to me!

Dang, that hurts. My sister lives in a home owners association, she lives in a strict one. I'm one who could never live under them rules lol, one needs chickens to know what farm life is about. Oh and there sooo sweet!
