Animal Care - Wikibooks, open books for an open world

The Wikibook for Land Hermit Crabs has 11 sections, 19 sub-sections and 1 sub-sub-section. The Wikibook for rabbits is:

Quote:
When caring for a rabbit you should remember to take it to the veterinarian to make sure that every thing is healthy and to get the rabbit the help it needs if there is a problem. You should carry the rabbit gently from under the paws so that it will not get hurt from falling out of your hands if it is frightened and tries to run away. You should also make sure to carry it close to your chest so that it won't be as frightened when it is being carried. You need to make sure that you have a pleasant place for it to live and sleep and you need to remember to that you should always give a rabbit time to adjust to its new surroundings. It is normal for the rabbit to appear skittish when you first buy it because it may not be comfortable or familiar with some things.
*** I assume becuse it's open-source, I can quote it in it's entirety***

Hmmmm.... I may not be beyond the learning curve for chickens but I am with rabbits for the most part. I use cat carriers when I go to the vet. When you're driving, you wouldn't want any animal on anyone's lap or to their chest for obvious reasons.... 1 fast stop or some ding dong honking their horn in the car next to you and it could end up down by your brake pedal. Our rabbits are easily handled and they're used to dogs barking and new people walking by talking to them and sticking their fingers in their cages but 1 strange dog in new surroundings like a vet's office trying to get in a good sniff and I can tell you if that rabbit was to your chest you'd end up looking like something Edward Scissorhands got to. They need a little bit more than a "pleasant" place to live and sleep although I give the author credit for trying to relay the importance of using a vet.

Pretty scary that's in an open source for the world.
