Bumping this Up
 
After seeing a friend's Facebook post about her bat house, I began thinking about snags again.

In my search, I came across this in depth information about snags. I thought I'd share...and bump up thos thread in the process.

Old vanilla. What an awesome name to honor a tree.
The excavations left by the tree-eating insectswas almost artistic in nature. Reminding me of early petroglyphs.
Wild horses bolting past the trees and brush.

Time lapse....Can't see why he cut the tops off like he did if it was in the middle of nowhere. Not going to damage anything if it fell unless you were directly under the thing. I would have left it all intact.
