Default Luna Parc

I'm not sure where to place this post. Luna Parc is more of a total experience then a designed landscape or garden art.
The artist who designed this, Ricky Boscarino is also a potter and jewelery artist. Twice a year the grounds are open to the public and you can spend the day wandering about and purchase a large offering of tiles, pottery and the most fabulous jewelery, including very realistic silver articulated insects.

If you want a further look lunaparc.com

I had a wonderful visit and plan to return on the next opening on Halloween.
Ricky Boscarino was on site happy to answer questions.

I'll start with a few photos and add on .

Here's the house, the main building, but there are many smaller structures, including a studio. I think it's always in progress and changing. You can walk around inside also but I concentrated on the exterior and grounds.
I did mention to Ricky how wonderful it would be if he had a landscape of native plants to go along with his creations and he did think he would do more with the plantings in the future.

The grounds were varied in types and intent of buildings, from a shrine or miracle house with a fence of crutches to an all twig structure and my favorite the blue bottle house.

He must spend all his free time on these.
They look like something from Willy Wonka or Dr. Seuse.
My father had acquired a bunch of the telephone pole insulators similar to those in photo 4 post 1.
He thought he could use them somehow and the price was right-free!
The fence and steps are pretty cool looking in post 2.
I wouldn't mind having that blue squiggly star thing in photo 1 post 3 myself!

What a good steward to the land you are.

This is certainly out of the ordinary. Breath of fresh air to see so much color.
