I've never created one before......
Looking at their form, the first two and last line must rhyme with one another and the 2nd and 3rd then with "each" other. Not hard once you get the rhythm.

The first two and last line must rhyme
You add them just one at a time
Line two and line three
flow so easily you'll see
It might become "your"... pastime

I remember the rhyme scheme, but wasn't sure about how many syllables. Oh well, I have enough passtimes.

Keeping to an entomological theme, here's one of my favorites (I did NOT write it!):

A flea and a fly in a flue,
Scratched their heads for something to do.
"Let us flee," said the fly,
"Let us fly," said the flea,
So they fled through a flaw in the flue...
