They were simple but a lot of fun. You have a grandchild at your house running around... right? Do you have any old picture frames laying around? Nail a stake to one and let him stick it in the ground close to plants. He'll get a web in no time flat.

Oh sure, you want to be the first one with an ultra cool framed spider web. I see how you are!

I picked up some frames, spray painted one cream colored to match, drilled holes and nailed them onto a stake.
It was easy and only took me a few minutes to do.
Mine is a deluxe triple condominium model.

Your turn - to go and make one. $ world sells cheep frames. I'll wait to put it in the ground.
We can have a race to see which one draws the first web! Anyone else want to join in?

I'm just messing with ya. Can't right now. I'll be disappearing for a week or so. By then you'll have 5 or 6 incredible ones. (geeez - she even thought of painting the frame so it'll look great in her photos)

Oooooooooooo the invisible woman!
No......... I painted them to look better for the neighbors and myself so it looks like I've added a piece of art to my yard.

When you create a website... you really create a website. Ours weren't anywhere near as elaborate. I think they were around 6" by 6" square. This is going to be interesting. I wonder if you will get any takers that high off the ground. Ours were always lower to the ground and placed in protected locations.

I even left some spaces between the frames for them to crawl and hide in.
It really isn't all that high, it's under 3' I can't wait for morning to check.
