Default Is Varilux Good for Plants?

I am bringing in some plants from the outside before it gets too cold outside. Would a Varilux Happy Light be sufficient as an indoor light source for the plants? The Varilux unit emits a full spectrum light. Or do I need to purchase an actual plant light bulb?

Although you did not share which species of plants you were bringing inside, a common shop light fixture with alternating cool and warm fluorescent bulbs would be sufficient.

The Varilux lamps are marketed to ward off seasonal depression in humans. There is no need to incur the expense for plants or people.
