Thank you for posting this. I actually went to that flower show and walked right by their exhibit. It blended in well with the sub theme of "Have Nothing to do with Paris!" That every exhibit there seemed to be showing off so well. They built two legs of the Eiffel Tower, a Mary-Go-Round and apparently forbid the use of grape vines, herbs, and poppies. What bulbs and orchids have to do with Paris is a mystery to me as those were the two most prominently featured groups of plants.

Their exhibit stood out I recall only because they used witchhazle and some berry covered shrubs. The Rhododendrons sadly blended in with everything else there.

I applaud the folks at EPA for at least trying. I can imagine they felt very much like 'outsiders' at that show.
