Pictures taken by a neighbor near Valley View Park in Los Lunas, N.M. show the frogs, some with only one leg, others with no legs and others with legs only on one side.
"It could indicate that something is out of whack -- a potential parasite population has increased too much, a potential predator or disease or chemical contaminant," he said.

State environmental officials told Action 7 News that they will now investigate the pond...
