Default An attractive toad

I think the pattern on their skin is quite attractive, even if it is warts. Here's a recent shot of one that sat long enough for me to get a decent shot of it in all its warty glory.

I like him.......
I just saw my nasty neighbor tell her dog to go GETEM... He pounced on one and clawed at the poor little thing while she's laughing away... GRRRRRRRR I immediately put a stop to it and said they could sicken or kill a dog if they're chewed upon.
Does this variety have those qualities or is it just the LARGE ones that secrete the milky substance from their glands?

Some people are awful. Sorry to hear that you're stuck next door to someone like that. According to what I've read about them, American Toads do secrete the milky toxin from their skin.

Too bad your neighbor didn't chew on the toad.

Congrats on selling the house of the nasty neighbor! I feel bad for that poor toad!
