I just noticed that I have 5 of the last 7 posts in this thread. I don't know what that means, just like i don't know what this plant is. It looks much like wild mint but the leaves aren't right and it wasn't growing anywhere near water like mint is supposed to. Also, this picture of it blooming was taken in early June whereas, according to the Connecticut Botanical Society, Wild Mint blooms in July and August. So, what do you all think?

Try Motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca).

I'd say you take pictures first and ask questions later, while perhaps most of us take pictures and ask immediately!

Thank you benji, Motherwort it is. And you're right about my methods. I take so many pictures during the summer that I can't immediately sort them and I get waaaay behind. So, when I get around to sorting them, there's a flurry of activity by me in the ID thread. That process is going on right now so I've been really piling it on of late. I still have many unsorted folders left so there may be more to come. Thanks again.

We're glad you are sorting through them and getting back to posting. Keep them coming.

I'm still going through pictures from Sept. and Oct. When I went back to work and fell behind on blogging and posting here. So, I may be posting things soon from back then.
