I think that I will carefully examine the "soil" around the lake where the plants are going, the plants and trees that are there are the same ones that I have in my yarden. I would imagine that I could duplicate the conditions pretty closely. I hate the idea of buying sphagnum...I wonder if coconut coir would work in place of the sphagnum.
