Default Bear food

Found this last year and the bears just tore it to pieces eating it.
What kind of bush berries are these? An olive of some sort?

It looks kind of like Autumn Olive. If it is, you may not want to let those bears poop in the woods.

I am not suggesting that you try to stop a bear from pooping. A bear can do that anywhere he wants. But yes, Autumn Olive is an exotic invasive.

autumn-olive: Elaeagnus umbellata (Rhamnales: Elaeagnaceae )

The Autumn Olive is one that should be removed and replaced. The wild foragers like the thing which is part of the problem, Natural Biodiversity
