NEST:
Birds, mammals, fish, insects and even reptiles create or locate protective areas to perhaps seek shelter, lay eggs, or raise their young.
Nests can be as elaborate as creations of twigs, grass, and leaves, or merely a burrow or depression in the ground, a hole in a tree, a rock or even a bare rocky ledge! A nest is their refuge........ Their home.

It was on the front door at Christmas but I knew the Carolina wrens would like it so instead of pitching it I moved it to a wall on the side of the house. They already used a wall planter nearby so I figured this is even better.

Good thinking. I bet you might end up with some great pics of them using it.

I love Carolina wrens.
