Default The Great Smoky Mountains (Video)

YouTube - GreatSmokyMountains's Channel
I found a great new channel to subscribe to on youtube. The Great Smokey Mountains National Park has several videos of wildflowers in bloom. I like finding videos like this to see what blooms with what and to get a feel for the plant.

That WAS a nicely narrated video...She identifies each floral as she goes along.

Nice find. I would love to get spring beauty to grow in our garden.
The Elk video is really cool as well.

I found this bear video to be enjoyable too. The black of the bears is such an enjoyable contrast to the meadow.

I love YouTubes. I almost gave up watching it until I caught the title said Mama and three cubs and right about then the little black flecks showed up. Cute. I just found out if you've got one of the newer tv sets you can watch them on tv. How cool is that. I wonder how you could get your list of YouTubes from your computer to the tv???

I had watched another bear attack story last night and ended up dreaming about them...
I'm so afraid Booboo's going to get it one of these days being so trusting around them..

So you think I'm too close to my bears when I photograph them?

Not too worry, their Mum, Red Riding Hood, is sitting next to me on my left side even though you can't see her in this photo

Ohhh BooBoo
All those scary attacks happen to such trusting people.
What if one got pinched or something, let out a yeowl and mom thinks YOU hurt them...

But you know what? When it comes time for Equill and I to pick you up, more than likely I'll be asking you if the bears are around and I'd probably do the same....I'd have a strong urge to reach out and touch their hot sun kissed fur.

Do they or mom let you or others touch them?
I'd guess they leave upon strangers entering their area.

I don't touch the bears, but they touch me (lots).

I have known mom bear, Red Riding Hood, for 5 years. She introduced me to her cubs early this spring by approaching me with them tagging along.

havalotta, you're correct. They won't even allow hubby to photograph me with them. They see (most likely smell) him or anyone else, and simply stroll away.
