Go native - restoring our plant communities
Oct. 18, 2013
Written by Nicholas Polanin

excerpt from above:
Felled trees. Damaged roofs. Flooded basements. Uplifted homes.

The devastation Superstorm Sandy had on communities across the area was tremendous. The storm not only impacted our lives and neighborhoods throughout the state, but it had a great impact on plant communities as well. Large wounds remain and scars were left in natural and planted woodland and seaside landscapes.

And rest assured it wonít be the last to visit our shores...
The tendency of man's nature to good is like the tendency of water to flow downwards.
