Restoration with Native Plants

The tendency of man's nature to good is like the tendency of water to flow downwards.

It is encouraging to see restoration with natives becoming more common practice. Videos like these help to educate and inspire, so I'm hoping the idea catches on and bones more commonplace.

I found it interesting and exciting that attracting native species in itself helped bring in more native plants to the restoration which naturally increases the biodiversity found there. I've been looking for native volunteers to spring up all of the time, but it is also nice to know that the native species that I establish here will help to spread out and reestablish in the surrounding community. That makes me even more dedicated to try to establish plants of local provenance.
