Default Best of Backyard Habitat DVD

Hey Everyone - I wanted to let you all know about a series I hosted on Animal Planet called Backyard Habitat. It's a make-over show where we turned conventional yards and gardens into eco-friendly landscapes that provide habitat for local wildlife. In each episode there are how-to projects, kid-friendly nature crafts, and of course backyard wildlife profiles.

The Best of Backyard Habitat DVD has 14 fan-favorite episodes from our first season. You can order it from the Discovery Channel store, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Best Buy or even rent it from Netflix or Blockbuster.

I hope you check it out!

Thanks for letting us know about your Backyard Habitat show! I wasn't aware of it. I'll be checking out your Season 1 DVD links.

Will there be a Season 2? If so, let me know so I can set my TIVO to record it. "Backyard Habitat" sounds like a great show!

Thanks!

Very nice. Public libraries should be purchasing these DVDs.

Thanks for the enthusiasm, folks, and sorry that my links didn't all come through.... Looks like the Amazon and Discovery Store links worked but the the other ones were Barnes and Noble, Best Buy, Netflix and Blockbuster (the latter two for rental).

As for doing another DVD of our second season, I haven't heard anything yet from Animal Planet about that happening. There are only two things that would make them want to do a second one:

1. Sales from the first one are good
2. You tell them that you would like a second DVD

The first one you can accomplish by buying the first DVD. The second one you can accomplish by emailing Discovery/Animal Planet and letting them know.

We don't quite know what is going haywire with the links. It's an intermittent problem. Apologize for inconvenience.

Thank you for sharing information on your Backyard Habitat DVD's with us. Really glad you took the time to do so. That particular series in invaluable for families that don't quite know where to begin.
