Default Sialis: Bluebird and Native Cavity Nester Conservation

http:/www.sialis.org is an educational website with comprehensive information on how to help native cavity nesters survive and thrive. It contains information on bluebird basics, history, books, activities for children, dealing with weather extremes like heat, House Sparrow management (both active and passive options), feeding (mealworms and suet), planting, nest and egg ID, nestboxes, nestcams and birdcams, photos, problems and solutions (e.g., predators), resources, how to start a trail, suppliers, lyme disease, and more. Birds covered include all small cavity nesters: chickadees, wrens, titmice, bluebirds, tree and violet-green swallows and nuthatches.
