Thanks dapjwy.
Either they reply in English or they're gone. None of that other crap flies either.

Lorax deletes/boots registrations wanting to join WG for the MB as she should. We don't need any Islamist transnationalists opposing US policies here. If they want to participate in our discussion forums they better respond to the question in English saying they like fuzzy little chipmunks or something.

I don't consider myself superstitious (although I do catch myself once in a while), so I'm not expecting this post to jinx anything.
![]() Has the problem been remedied, or have I just been lucky of late? I did notice that sometimes, I can't enlarge the thumbnail pictures; is that related?

We appear to be having issues with an 80legs spider. The inability to enlarge thumbnails is related.

The banning of those IP's will buy time. 80legs will return. We continue to pursue ways to rid ourselves of this bandwidth parasite. 80legs does not honor the robots.txt requests created by Popowich. Their robots.txt hits come in from multiple servers. Their fake-file hits come in from yet more servers.

Wow, Lorax! I never realized something like this would happen. I 'did' notice something strange a few weeks ago. I was on the main page of WG, looking at the names of people who were on the site. There were several very strange names that I had never seen before. Whenever I tried to click on their public profiles, it said they could not be accessed. I have never seen any of them writing on the forums, so I am assuming these were bots?
